Cincinnati in my rear view mirror – November 2011

Okay, if you’re a big Ohio fan – the state, not any particular team – I might be getting ready to offend you.  Now that I have your attention, I want to talk about our recent trip to the Cincinnati area.  And a side trip a bit north of Columbus. To get to Milford, a suburb just east of Cincinnati in Clermont County, it takes a nearly-nine hour drive up through Virginia and West Virginia from where we live near Raleigh.  That’s only stopping to fill the car’s tank and empty my own.  My brother and his wife of forty-eight years live there, begrudgingly I might add.  Mostly for the same reasons that I’m not thrilled with the area.
